Journey Through Utah’s Mighty Five and the Grand Canyon

Epic Drives, Unforgettable Hikes, and Breathtaking Views

As an aspiring travel writer—and professional enthusiast of all things beautiful and slightly intimidating—I am beyond excited to share my upcoming adventure through some of the most stunning landscapes in the United States.

In the next few months, I’ll be exploring Utah’s legendary Five National Parks—Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef—alongside the grand, awe-inspiring Grand Canyon.

This trip is extra special because I’ll be traveling with my husband, and we’re celebrating a milestone—30 years of marriage! Who knew that surviving three decades together would also mean surviving countless road trips, awkward selfie attempts, and convincing each other to make “just one more” scenic stop? But honestly, exploring these breathtaking parks with my favorite person makes everything even more memorable.

The adventure promises epic scenic drives that wind through towering red rock formations and rugged canyons—think of it as a rollercoaster, but with fewer screams and more “Wow!” moments. I’ll also be lacing up my hiking boots (and probably my favorite hat) to tackle unforgettable trails that lead to hidden waterfalls, sweeping overlooks, and rock formations that look like they belong on another planet.

Each park is a treasure chest of natural wonder, waiting to be explored—and photographed. I believe that photographs speak a thousand words, but without the stories behind them, they’re just another picture of a pretty rock. My mission is to capture not just the scenery but the magic, the surprises, and maybe even a few funny moments along the way. Because let’s face it—sometimes the best stories come from the times you’ve tripped over a trail or got lost trying to find that “easy” shortcut.

I’ll be immersing myself in their landscapes, capturing their magic, and sharing the incredible experiences along the way. Whether it’s the vibrant hues of Bryce Canyon at sunrise (which I’ll probably be too tired to fully enjoy at first) or the silent grandeur of the Grand Canyon at sunset (when I’ll be trying to avoid dropping my camera), I hope to bring these scenes to life through my words—and maybe a few goofy photos.

And remember—photos without words are just another picture. But a story behind that picture? That’s what makes it worth a thousand words—and a thousand laughs.

Join me on this wild ride as I document my explorations, share travel tips (and probably a few mistakes), and bring these incredible destinations to life. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or just someone dreaming of escaping your daily routine, I hope to inspire your wanderlust—and remind you that sometimes the best adventures involve a little bit of chaos and a lot of beautiful scenery.

Thanks for tagging along on this exciting preview of my upcoming trip! I can’t wait to share my experiences, stunning photos, and maybe even a funny misadventure or two. And if you’re celebrating a special occasion too—like 30 years of marriage! — then you know these trips become even more meaningful.
