The sunset

.☆. ☆. ☆.

A quiet note from my journal.

After a day of twists and turns, we can still end on something beautiful. Life stays busy and the to-do list never quits, does it? Some days demand we adjust, pivot, and carry-on.

At the end of the day, I pause to notice the sunset. It helps me slow down and reset. I look up, take a deep breath, and release the day’s stress. The colors look like an oil painting, but are more saturated.

We are all part of this big universe together. If you enjoy a glass of wine, pour one, sip slowly, and watch the horizon as the day comes to a quiet conclusion.. This small pause can calm the nerves and support a better night of sleep and a better mood to face the next morning.

My evening pause:

  1. Close your eyes and gently notice sensations from your toes up to your head, releasing tension as you exhale.

  2. Name one thing or person you’re grateful for.

  3. Sip a drink slowly, paying attention to temperature, aroma, and flavor.

May these simple and small steps become a comforting ritual you lean toward.
